ARTWORKS Anchorage is for everyone and there are lots of ways to take part this October: 

  • Share your story 
    Post a video, or short story about how the arts make a difference in your life or community. Submit here. 

  • Spread the word 
    Follow along on social media, share stories from other organizations, and help amplify the arts across our city. @artworksanchorage @artsanchorage

  • Join the celebration 
    Attend events throughout October and experience the creativity, connection, and culture happening across Anchorage. Find out what’s going on here!

Organizations, Artists & Culture Bearers

If you’re part of an arts or cultural organization, business, or creative group, here’s how to plug in: 

  • Add your events 
    Submit your October performances, exhibits, and activities to the ARTWORKS Anchorage calendar so they’re part of the citywide celebration. 

  • Share your story 
    Post a video or short story about your work in the community and we’ll help highlight what you’re doing! Submit videos or stories here. *Word Count (range) - 800 - 1500 words // Up to 3 images // 3:2 aspect ratio for the leading image for the menu page // Image size under 500 kb. 

  • Share ARTWORKS featured stories 
    Throughout October, join us in posting one ARTWORKS story and one of your own (through social media, newsletters, or email). Together, we’ll create a citywide chorus of voices showing the impact of the arts. Tag @artworksanchorage and @artsanchorage 

  • Use the shared toolkit 
    Logos, sample posts, and graphics will be available to make it easy to share and adapt. Request the graphics by emailing bkendall@anchorageconcerts.org  

  • Amplify others 
    Re-share stories and events from fellow organizations to show how much the arts thrive when we work together. 

  • Keep building 
    This is just Year 1. Help us learn, grow, and expand this campaign for years to come.
